Is the whole head unit 'dead', or just the radio function?

Does the head unit light up when you turn on the dash illumination? The DOME fuse only powers the head unit illumination, not the stereo functions.

The main head unit functions are powered off the 15A ACC fuse - located in Junction Block No. 1 (the fuse / relay block behind the lower left dash). If the ACC fuse were blown, your cigarette lighter, clock, and power outlet would be dead as well.

The 'head unit' is the entire central stereo unit - the box in the dash that has a radio and / or CD and / or cassette and / or whatever.

If the clock is working, the 15A ACC fuse is not blown. It's not a simple fuse problem.
