Come on now it's got like 18 more hp than the stock 2rz. lol. I do have about 8 grand in the pocket now with pretty much everything sold. I could go buy another taco if i wanted, but then i'd have 3 and I don't want to hog them all.

The sight of that intake resonator brings back old memories lol. Get rid of it!

Geez guys, I just spent a solid week getting it back to stock and now you guys want me to modify it again already! It does have a truetrac lsd in it and it won't get sidways anymore due to lack of power:thinking:. Damm!t!! you guys are a bad influence on me.

It may get turbo'd again in the future, but that will be after I buy land, build a shop, and go into business for myself. Right now I'm trying to stack some papers.

Btw, If anybody here needs any parts let me know. I have 2 2rz blocks, a few cranks, several sets of cams, a wrecked 2000 prerunner with a good auto trans, driveshaft, rearend, and full interior(grey). I also have several different fenders and tailgates.

well, all the years of working on other peoples toyotas has gotten to me. The last thing I want to do when I get home is work on my stuff. It would have been really cool, but it would always be a money pit, not to mention that it would not be very streetable with all that power. Selling all the parts will allow me to pay off my tundra and have money left over to hopefully buy some land.

you should rename this thread "de-evolution of my engine bay" :D too bad you didnt at least do a mild turbo build, would still be fun

What size tires are you running with what drop?

Who made the intake (it's beautiful)?

And.. I guess you don't care about better Mpg's...

Tires are 225/40zr18. 2 inches in front and 3 in back with airshocks.

The intake was made by some dude in miami, larry something. I bought it off of ebay. It was made beautiful by me though. I spent endless hours polishing that rough casting on the stock part of the intake. Smoothed the inside too. It's still for sale.(one of the very few parts left).

Don't really care about mpgs, my tundra dubcab gets 16 and it's my daily driver. I'm sure the taco gets 26 or so mpg but it is my weekend ride.

Ok, so my black lowered taco and i just celebrated our 12 year aniversary together and it has traveled 2,500 miles in the past 2 years since returning it about to stock with a 3rz from a 2000 prerunner. I still love it, but I drive my white 1995 4wd v6 taco everyday. I knew that when I threw a stock 3rz in it 2 years ago I would want more power. A month ago I bought a supercharger from a member on here. I installed it and a cool air intake and am going to be researching and doing some suspension mods to get better traction, and try to get rid of the annoying bumpsteer. Here is what it looks like as of today.
