Questions for those knowing about the 2.7.

How well do these motors hold up with miles?
Any major problems when nearing 100k miles?
Will they hit 200k miles with regular maintenance?

I know all about Toyota reliability ext., but I don't know much about the 2.7 motor specifically.

Thanks for the help.

i have 62K on mine...still going strong.. only problem i've had (since i've owned it) are the valves going tight on me and requiring new shims and adjustment.... other than that, it's a solid motor...

110,000 miles, no problems, just oil changes, and routine maint....
I have seen them come into the dealership with 150,000+ still running strong. Its as strong and reliable as the 22re was, just without the problem of the timing chain wearing a hole in the water pump and then block if you let it go. They are pretty much bullet proof.

I have a 141k plus on mine, bought it with 86k 2 1/2 years ago. no problems yet. done all the routine stuff, fuel filter (not as big a pain as I thought it'd be...) plugs, wires, cap, rotor (95 - still had a distributor) oil changes, diffs, trans, transfer, ect...

A friend of mine has one with a 2.4 that went 350k before it blew, its on its second motor with about a 100k (or more i think now) and still going
