alright, i want to hook my XM up to my stock head unit in my 06 tacoma, now i know there is the ipod 2 car connection, now i dont know if that will work, or if there is another kit. now i dont want to use the built in FM transmitter because it sounds like ass....... its one of the basic xm radio things..

What about an FM Modulator? It's inline so you won't have static.

Pick up a USA Spec DF-TOY (circuit city or buy online). It gives you two sets of aux inputs with your stock radio. I just installed mine this weekend and I love it. It is so much nicer than an FM modulator. Cost is $70 at CC.

Also, it's as easy as pie to install. Just plugs into the cd-changer connector on back of HU. Took me about 15 minutes to install, and most of that time was looking for an extension for my ratchet to take out the HU.
