X-Runner rims on non-X-Runners.

Got a steal of a deal on a set of 4 with no tires.

I have a few ideas of what tires I want.

They come stock with 255/45-18's

I'm thinking about going a little narrower, maybe a 235/40-18. Reason for going narrow is because the truck is N/A 4-cylinder.

Shouldn't be too much of a stretch right?

I like these Good Year Eagle GT's for a sporty touring-ish tire.

i say do it:waytogo: it'll look good the way you want it
I like these Yokohamas too. They're only a little narrower than stock.

I'm just worried that if I get the stock XR size, they might rub when the drop goes on. Plus, I don't really need that wide of a tire, but it should still be able to push them well...right?
rock a common size tire. 245 40 18 or 245 45 18. im sure you can find a good deal on "used" tires if you want save some money
i've got some 245-45-18s in real good condition for 100 installed (full set)

235 is far from a stretch on a 8" wide wheel

mine don't rub at all and the truck pushes them fine. they're definitely not putting a strain on the engine.
dude you want 255/45/18. anything else looks goofy. you WILL NOT tub with you drop. I have no rubbing issues at all with my 4/6
