Who's opened up the front differential?

I have an 08 taco and yesterday draining and filling the front diff was a mess and I don't know how much I put back in but it only seems like it was a quart but I filled it up until the fill hole started overflowing, and I let it sit for like five minutes, so my question is, with that said, is my differential completly full you think or is there somthing inside the differential that could block a passageway?
