haven't run at the strip yet, but I'd guess (yeah; I know..) that mines in the mid 14's. '01 S-Runner, 3.4/stick, TRD blower, TRD headers, airbox mod/Amsoil filter, & some fairly sticky 245/45 Kumhos.... I didn't know they made the 01's with the 3.4l. I thought they were all 1.7 or 1.4. Was it custom?? I thought they stopped putting the 3.4 in non4X4(&prerunners) in 2000.

OK, now i'm upset. I didn't know they had V6's in them when I bought my truck a few months ago. DANG! I would have tolerated the black or the red to get a V6. Oh well, I'll probably be relegating mine to commuting duties when I buy a camaro.

i think i do, i ran a 14.3 before my Locker,Nitto 555r's, S-AFC, Free 1:1 FMU and some other stuff.

btw i'm that Red S/C'd S-Runner vs the T/A with a cam, and ect... and dyno's 385 hp at the wheel.

as far as I know, BpuTacoma (Richard) IS the owner of that red "S" in the TA vs. S-Runner movie.... And the 385 RWHP is from the TA, not the "S". Ask him about all the mods.... I believe he's just installed the Super AFC as well.

14.3 still isn't fast enough. The WS6 has a 0 - 60 time of 5 sec. and runs high 13's. Now, if you if you had a setup like Paul's Sleeper tacoma (high 12's), the WS6 would only watch your behind and never see your front.

All in all, you definitely have a fast tac! You would whoop on a lot of us. But, when comes to the big boys, you will need a lot more!

that 14.3 was before my stuff. i think i might run a 13.8, 13.9, which is on par with a Z28/SS/WS-6, my 555r's at killer for the launch, the Free FMU helps alot, and the S-AFC added a definate punch. i can either hold my own or beat most of the domestics.
my 0-60 is about 5.5 or so......
when i get my pulley some other stuff, i'll bring a camera man to record some of this.

who is Paul ? the white tacoma ? with slicks and ect...

That's great! Just shave 3/10th more of a second, and you'll be dead even with the WS6 in the 1/4 mile.

That would be cool if you can get some more video! I love watching the tacs take on the big guys! I myself have shocked a couple camaros and stangs.

Yes, Paul is the one with the white tac. I never would have thought that a tac could pull off low 12's. And he does it with a stock air box!

Yeah, I've been here for about a month or so, real good info for tacos here. I bought my Camaro last week, so all of my money will be going into it instead of the taco. It's wierd to drive a 13.4 second (stock) car after my hardly modified taco. I'm trying not to kill myself.
