Hey i was wondering what goes into a full tune up on a 91 toyota pick-up 4x4 V6. I wanna do what i can to save me money from taking it to a shop if i can do parts of it, or atleast give them the parts to make it as cheap as possible.

thanks.

Oil, oil filter, spark plugs, timing belt, air filter... I know I'm not complete, someone else fill the rest out...

I've had my spark plug wires replaced also (not on this truck)...

I'm only on 10K, so nope... Actually I'm still a hundred or so miles from 10K... Unless this is one of those things where we don't have the damn belt lol... I unno it's late I don't want to find the answer LOL... My answers came form the last car I owned that needed a tune up... My 91 Camry...

I had my WRX for 4K miles totalled...

My 90 teg LS for 2 years and only 5K miles...

This truck 10K in almost 2 years LOL...

Quick search shows 05+ has chain (duh) but the OP has a 91 so belt :D

Plugs, wires, air filter, oil/ change and filter, fuel filter, transmission fluid/filter, differential oil...maybe transfer case oil too. You can do it all yourself. It's very easy and will take all of 2 hours...tops... to do.

Hah, have you seen the inside of a 3.0? that thing is freakin crammed in there. I dont know how they get there hands in there to do anything. I mean my hands arent big and its hard as hell to get mine in there. No way is that only going to take me two hours. Thanks for the help though. I can do it all just ganna take me longer haha.
