C'mon guys, this is no better than the kids who put Mercedes emblems on their Kias. Nobody is fooled, and nobody really thinks its clever...

looks good, but not great in my opinion.

i'm a big fan of the stealth look, so i'll be leaving it body colored.

 

Disclaimer #1: It's YOUR truck, so your opinion is the one that really matters ...

Disclaimer #2: I prefer the 'stealth' / debadged look, so I admit a definite bias.

I don't like it. It reminds me too much of the overly-prominent (even tacky) badging the Big 3 slapped on their products 30 years ago to try and distract people from noticing the vehicles themselves weren't all that much ... Frankly, the first thought that entered my mind on seeing it was, "Looks like something GM would do ..."

Having said that ...

What I suggest would be really cool (if you like the prominent multi-color badge) would be to have a 'stealth' looking badge under normal light and have it light up multi-colored under direct illumination at night. That way it would really stand out sometimes but not 'get old' by being that way all the time ...

I like it for two reasons...

1) It looks good... The stock emblem looks good already, but this new mix and match just made good looking better...

2) This mod does exactly what it is suppose to do with no hassle... What does it do? Grab attention... If anyone wants to do this, that'll be purely the only reason... Let's just say this mod does that very well with little to no custom work other than repasting the emblem back on... Really, it's almost like a fast button to go really fast... Simple yet effective...

 

I did 2 quick photoshops on old pics of my truck.
the one looks off center cause the pic itself was taken at an angle.

I kinda like it alot..Since its winter though...I wont be doing it tll summer when it warms up to make it easier to get the emblem off.

Well I thought the red and black emblem on the SEMA X was great looking. Just wish i could get that exact one cause the Emblem had some litle edge wear look to it that made it even better.

I think your emblem looks good, it is most definitely unique (which all x-runner owners are of course). It gets my approval. GOOD JOB :waytogo:
