Math is hard! ;) So a 5 lug 15" steelie rim has 41 mm of offset, what backspacing do I need to try for when I try to replace this rim on my '04? I want to do Cragar Soft 8's on my 5 lug taco...thanks

The formulas for figuring backspacing and offset are provided in the sticky thread on Wheels:

You won't get far without specifying the width of the rims, because the width establishes where the wheel's lip is ...

yep, entirely dependent on wheel width and your plans for using the truck and final tire size.....if you want to go low, you will have to seriously consider your offset
Sorry about that, I was looking at a 15X7 rim with 4" BS. Not looking at real big tires as I don't want to regear right now. 29s or 30s ? I want to minimize the sticking out as much as possible, but if there is some, I could get flares.
What width are your stock(?) steelies?

A 7" wide rim with 4" backspace translates into approximately 0mm offset.
