Looks like its going somewhere thats for sure. I filled the overflow to the top level a couple weeks ago and now its down about 1". I remember DX-R saying something around the same line so a searchin I go.
The stock is graphite. I was just wondering because I will be running a steel gasket on the engine I'm building, and I've heard that they can leak more, and are less forgiving than the stock. I guess i'll just have to make sure my deck and head surfaces are perfect. How about water-cooled turbos, You guys have those? That would be another possible place to loose coolant.
I still got the stock head gasket but am goina change it out this winter along with some studs. I wonder if I could disconect the coolant lines to the turbo and run it like that to see if it still using antifreeze? It was a used turbo that got re built but how could one know if that is where the problem is.
