Toyotas down under

I've been in Australia for a week or so on R&R from the desert, and they have some awesome Toyotas down here.

I need one of thier LC70s with the V8 diesel and utility bed

Anyone ever drive one of these off the beaten path? They look like they can go anywhere, and there are tons of them around. Not too many Hi-Luxes though...
