Is there a harness available where I can use my stock head unit and get line level outputs for an external amp without having to cut wires?

oh man i wish but i dont think there is. i plan on getting the jl clean sweep one of these days so i can run 2 new amps and do a stereo system in my truck. but i think we are stuck cutting wires.

Use T-tap splices. It won't cut the wire. It just slices through the insulation and makes contact with the wire inside.
