I am thinking of getting some new wheels, (upgrading from 17" to 18") and was wondering if anyone has done staggered wheels on their 95-04 tacoma. I was thinkin of 8.5 in front and 9.5 in the back. Pictures would be appreciated. thanks.

Here is mine.. You will need the 4x4 fenders up front on yours because the regular ones will cut into your tires. For the 9.5 in back you should be good but I don't remember the exact width of the smaller rear. I am running 9.5's all around and a 275 series tire.

first: your ride looks amazing.
second: do they make 4x4 fender flares in stock color?
third: I love your truck, also, if i was to do 8.5 in front and 9.5 in back would I still need fenders?

Just so happens I posted a thread yesterday concerning wide wheels. I asked if 46 mm offset was too much on the front of an S-Runner on an 18x9.5. How much offset does yours have Voodootrip? I also would like to run a 275/35-18.

5/7 drop

9x18 +36

front: 245/40/18

rear: 275/35/18

In the long run I may just go 255/35/18 all around so I can rotate since it seems no matter what size I put on the 9" wheel, they all look the same width. The 245's look the same as the 275.

They make the 4x4 fenders in stock colors, you just have to look for them. They bolt up just fine to yours but you need the parking lights that fit. I would still recommend them even with the 8.5in. Thanks for the comments. :waytogo:

What type of suspension are you running?
Voodootrip hasn't been seen on CT for over 6 years. Check his Build Thread and his suspension thread for details:

15x6 front and 15x8 rear. Was about to buy some tires for my other wheels and saw these for sale local. They were too cheap to pass up. Plus, I really wanted to see what it would look like.
