Re: so whats the best flush mount tonneau cover ou

Ditto. This is the second CheckMate cover I've owned. Both have been wonderful, and for the most part, leak proof.

Just be careful when you're measuring for it..measure at LEAST twice, if not more..make sure you measure correctly, or you'll have a tonneau that doesn't fit!

Does anyone have a link for this cover or know a good shop in Northern Cali?

You only have to measure for a custom lid. They carry lids for the regular bed Tacoma.

Strange..When I called to order mine (fiberglass flush), they had me measure the width of the bed at the front and rear of the bed and call them back with those measurements. I somehow under-measured the back, so my cover isn't quote as leak-proof in the back as it is in the front.

If you DO have to measure, keep in mind that the bed gets slightly wider in the back than at the cab. It's not that noticeable, but it's tapered.

I'll try to post some photos of mine later on today.

hmmm, well, they're in Kentucky, I believe, so it'll take longer to get to you than to me. But it came bbackaged really well. It was actually crated up with 2x4s and cardboard and styrofoam. These guys are experts. My only beef is that my tonneau came out of the box with a couple of scratches in the gel-coated(?) black fiberglass. I'll probably paint it eventually, but it's kinda crappy to pay that much for something and it comes a little scratched. I haven't tried buffing them out. That might fix em'.
