tried searching but didnt really come up with anything good.
im relocating my battery to the passengers side of the engine bay.
but i want a much smaller battery but at the same time i want it to be powerful enough to power everything im running.
2 amps
1 12" sub
2 6x9"s
pioneer head unit and pioneer door speakers
i would like the battery to be about half the size of my current battery if thats even possible. im not trying to break the bank with this battery either lol

you dont need a battery that will be able to power all that stuff unless you plan to play the system with the engine off. otherwise you just need a battery that will be able to start the truck and a good alternator. id go with a Kinetic KHC800

i agree with him! kinetic has really good batteries, but your gonna pay for them! just relocate it to the bed.:waytogo:
engine bay picture request..
gives me an idea of room for what to recommend..
I'm guessing your going to ditch the inner fenders or go with trailer fenders to kill rubbing.
I've read nothing but positive reviews here and on all sorts of other sites for Odyssey..

dumb move if you ask me.

where's your airfilter/airbox gonna go?

why not move it forward from it's original spot?

why not get a sealed battery?
can we get a pic of said battery next to a coke can, so we can see how low the battery is on point of entry? ;p

the air filter sits behind the battery. this will even out the weight a little bit. and im mounting my fuse box where the original battery was. how is this a dumb move other than you think theres no spot for the filter?
whats wrong with mounting that battery in the stock location as far forward as possible?
I'm not liking that spot you picked out.. it looks hoaky.. looks like a civic battery..

its mounted in the same exact location as stock just on the passengers side how does it look hoaky? i'll be putting trailer fenders in soon so it will look better. and like i posted right above your post im putting the fuse box in the stock battery location. id rather relocate my battery then relocate my fuse box.
I guess I'll have to see it when it's all put together..

Mite be a good time to do the BIG 3 on the alt and battery
wiring while your in there since you have a car stereo setup..

Big 3?
The wire from the alternator goes to the fuse box and then from there to the battery. I'd assume that you can bypass the fuse box and just run a straight wire from the alt to the battery with a 70 amp inline fuse.

If you bypass the fuse box, nothing gets any power..
I've seen where he's putting the battery in person and it doesn't look weird or out of place at all.., there isnt d!ck for room on the drivers side because of the fuses and charcoal canister, its just packed, the passenger side doesn't have anything on it in his application so the battery on that side and the intake looks like it will go in there well.

People always fight against someone doin something different ;p
