I just had siruis satelite radio installed in my 07 taco. Its just hooked up to my stock stereo (deck, speakers, everything stock) for some reason at max volume it just isn't that loud. Nowhere near as loud as the regular radio is capable of. And yes the volume on the satelite reciever is turned all the way up. Did best buy do something wrong or does my stock stereo just suck that bad? anyone else have this problem? suggestions?

yup, you need a FM modulator and plug it in like that.. Or... you could always ditch that lame ass deck and get something good and use the AUX input and do it that way..

Why on earth would you need to listen to it at max volume?
Do it right and damage your hearing with some components, higher powered deck, amps and and some subs..

I installed my XM using the Terk's universal parts, onto my Pioneer Premier DEHP-860MP deck.

The volume of the XM radio is noticably lower than CD or radio. There's a level adjuster for each source, on my deck. I did a +4 for the XM radio, to try and match the other outputs.

It's a bit better, but still falls short of the others.

See if you have this leveling option on your deck.
