Does anyone know a good way to remove the actual glass mirror on a 05+? I'm thinking aobut putting some LEDs behind the mirror and wiring them to the turn signals. I want it to shine out from behind the mirror. Anyone seen this done before?

I've seen some aftermarket units that seem to have the LED's embedded into or onto the mirror glass. I don't think I've ever seen one with the LED's *behind* the glass .... :thinking:

Yeah I've seen the ones with the signal behind the glass. Actually had a set on a past vehicle. What I'm looking to do is mount a flexible LED bar in the mirror housing behind the mirror so the light shines through from around the mirror not through the mirror it self. Kind of like a halo effect...if that makes any sense.
