Just picked this Tacoma up as a dd. This forum has been a tremendous resource so far.

Still stock height. Some sort of drop to come. Plus getting rid of the black door trim and cleaning it up.

235 45 r17s
On 17x9 +35s all around

When I picked it up.

Next to my long travel caged 92 4wd. I was originally planning on going the lift spindles and 31s route but decided to keep it more dd friendly. Trying to keep myself from boosting it.

Stuck some different wheels on today. Tesla model 3 wheels with 235/45-18 tires. Wheels are 18x8.5 et40 with the centers bored and a 6mm spacer needed to clear the front spindle grease caps.

Some 2005 to 2007(I think) g35 wheels still need to mill out the bore to fit the hubs. And still on the fence of tire size? They are 17x7, unsure of backspacing. I'm stock height or a bit saggy after 216k miles. Thoughts?

I'm not sure whether you're saying you're definitely going to go with the G35 rims. A 7" width should be workable with most any tires you choose if you stay at stock height, but how they align with the fenders will depend on offset / backspacing. You'll have to pin down at least one of these measurements. If you know one you can use that to calculate the other.

Did a bit more research and a 215/55r17 should run perfectly. Gonna sample in the next few days to see if I can get a bit more in there but should be good. Did have to mill the hub bores a bit tho
