+44 on a 10" wide = fail:brickknoc

pretty sure it would rub if the 05 normal Tacomas have same frame as X Runner..
As expected, your tossing in your $0.02 at something you have no first hand knowledge of.
As expected, your a sh1ttalker.

I've test fitted a +15 10" wide wheel on my Dads x runner..
and a 32 offset..9.5 wide wheel..and that fit pretty nice

and yes it cleared the frame by a mile.
but it didn't tuck even with fender flares
275 on the 10" wide, and 255 on the 9.5 wheel (buddies)

So I'm not ENTIRELY sure a +44 on a 10" wide wheel would work..but I'm confident enough that it won't.

Plus +44 is a fail fitment on something that wide anyway, that's like stock Porsche status = fail...why bother spending money on a wheel that is gonna cost a ****load since it's a 19" wheel anyway..it's probably some Axis wheel or something I bet since they come in fail fitments x 300:evil:

You never even seen the underside of an 05 Chris, so just please be quiet.
I've taken apart the x runner on various components a few times..

Axis wheels are 1pc wheels,
and therefore you can't get low offsets in them...you can but not as low as some people want/wish for.

Nothing wrong with them, there just fail fitment depending your application plus the "look" your looking for.

05+ trucks can handle REALLY wide wheels if you fit them right..(specifically the X-Runners is what most people are doing)
There are a few people on here running 10" wide in the rear..and I think one guy even has a 10" wide in the front..or a few people do.

but it's gotta be correctly offset...and I 90% sure a +44 on a 10" wide wheel would not work and will rub on components.
I'm not entirely sure as I've never seen it in person but I've test fitted a +15 10" wide wheel with a 275 series tire mounted on it..and there was plenty of clearance in the inner portion of the frame and wheel
Im guessing it wouldnt work.. the wheels are coming off a lexus..

What various components are you speaking of

Lets see.. On an 05+ I've installed composite leafs, Deaver leafs, blocks (had to bend the fukkin U bolts to fit around the thick axle) :brickknoc, shocks, an air bag helper leveling kit, a bolt in notch, a hitch that retained the X brace, hitches in general, catback exhaust, replaced some rear drum hardware because a spring broke..

I'm guessing all you've done are wheels/tires and maybe removed your
dads rear shocks to see if they would work on other projects..

I'm not new to the game son.. :waytogo:
Did the front brakes,
rear end fluid
oil changes
pulled apart the center console/shifter
+ tire swap/checking clearance

lifted my buddies double cab with toytec coilovers, installed tc control arms
also done a bolt in catback on that same double cab

and got crunched by a bumper by a 05:waytogo:
and smashed my fingers trying to take off the shocks on the xr:mad:
