Good post, those instructions are way more clear than the ones that come from Crutchfield when you buy equipment from them...says the exact same thing, but it took me a friggin' half hour to figure out what they were talking about. :) I've gotta say, once I figured out where to pry to get the climate controls off, this was one of the easiest stereos I've ever removed from a car.

One tip for anybody installing an aftermarket stereo instead of just an ipod adapter, instead of a putty knife, if you use those 2 metal "keys" that come with the aftermarket stereo to slide it in & out of the din basket...you can put the short end into the crack up to the right angle and then you can gently pull the climate control panel straight out...no prying & no risk of scratching up your dash.
