Why dont you just go ported...in theory it should add 3db(the same as adding another sub) and wont cost hardly anything

I agree if you want to go louder and cleaner, however going ported/vented it is a lil more complex you have to know how to tune a port as well as how large to make it for your setup. i can help you do this or you can go to kicker.com and email a tech tell them i sent ya and you will be in good..

i'll look into that, look at my kickers manual and see what box sizes are needed and what not... but i really dont kno if my mind is up for that complication

sometimes i get lazy

plus I still have to calculate to see how much space i have for these sub boxes so thats another factor i havent established yet... still gotta do measurements and what not... but for sure im goin to look into that ported box idea too

truely yes ported will be a good winner for you if done right. just currious where is your amp gains set too and what else do you have to go with your system like a eq, or a subsonic filter exe... cause mabie a basscube from PG could help you out a bunch too plus help you out with the sound police when you wanna play with them just turn the knob and what sub system officer here ill turn it up for you see no bass at all. LoL ive actually did that once and i got off cause he looked in my cab and seen no subs i guess if he would have moved the carpet on the back wall id be screwed or if he opened up my snug top hes be like wholy crap that sub system lol...

UUUHuhhhh Yeah go to a toyota dealer and ask the licensed dealer that is selling you a truck how an egine works and what the rev limiter is set at on a tacoma. He cant tell you but he is a licensed dealer. Exactly!!!! With a stupid comment like powering four of them with that amp shows alot about what you know. Who cares if your a dealer . You dont have to take a test to buy a certain amount offf them hahahaa....obviously...

That amp puts out the same amount of power at 4 ohms and 2 ohm load.So wire up the l7's at a 4 ohm load and you will be ok.Distortion is what destroys a speaker not the power.Heck hook up two of the Tantrum 1200.1

That's what I'm doing 2 1200.1 to 2 l7 15s dual 2ohm
