Here's the skinny: '02 tacoma. I don't know why the light on the dash for the parking brake won't turn off when I disengage the parking brake. It takes a few pushes on the p.brake lever and a sideways crank to make the light go off. I made sure that my brake fluid level is full. What could be the problem and solution?
There's a little switch on the parking brake lever assembly that signals the lever position. If your fluid is fine, odds are this switch (or the wiring associated with it) has a problem.
