I grew up learning how to fix cars with my dad. I was very much into the import tuner scene when I was in my teens and 20's. Owned and fixed up a lot of Hondas growing up. I've had some fun with MR2s and Miatas as well...
I'm here because I was gifted a 98 Tacoma 2.4L 5 lug 4spd auto as a hand-me-down when my father in law upgraded to a late 2nd gen in Feb of 2021.
I've been lurking this forum and have already learned a TON without ever posting any questions. I'm already attached to this truck, as I've been restoring/modifying it, starting from the interior.
A bit about me. I'm a jack of all trades, but master of none. I do a lot of electrical work, mechanical work, light semi-newbie level fabrication, and I love to have fun using those skills. I'm currently in the middle of sourcing necessary parts to perform a 5 speed swap. I have only a couple of small (but very necessary) parts left to complete my parts list! Looking forward to learning more from you all.
