Hi to all,

My tacoma is a 2003 5 lug with a 3.5" deutsch (or something like that) spindles lift, i have a bilstein shocks in the front (kinda stiff) and the stock ones in the rear... I would like to lift up 3 inches more but i would like to stay away from body lift kits since i have read here really bad things about them... Right now i have 31 All terrain tires and they go fine... i want to raise it more for the look... i have the 4 fender flares but i don't think they would look fine with the current height...

I went to a local shop (i live in Mexico) but they told me that there is no way for a suspension lift that i must go with a body lift kit... But they don't know much about that stuff... And that's why I'm here asking customtacos guys...

What are my options??

I saw a 3.5 fabtech lift kit but for 900+ dollars! and it comes with shocks that i think i don't need... My budget is around 500...

I don't do serious off road just some dirt here, some dirt there... just for fun but i don't wanna crawl rocks or anything hardcore...

Thanks for your time reading this!

I attached a pic of my truck... :)

You might look into the Fabtech 3.5" Performance system:

http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/applications/toyota/2wd95-04tacoma5lug.html

I've got the 6" Ultimate on my truck, but I've replaced the entire rear leaf packs with custom Alcan sets.

You can see photos of my rig in the owner gallery here:

The tires on my truck are BFG MT2 31x10.5 on 15x8 wheels.

I also have glassworks fenders in the front:

Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.

the problem is that your in mexico, that's why the prices are so high. but it's safer to go with the coil/arm lift than it would the body lift, if you are gonna be jumping the truck at all. if not, a body lift may be just what you need, and be easier on your wallet.

if the 5 lug has a 6" lift, and the prerunner is stock, the 5 lug will be slightly higher...bout an inch or so

I couldn't tell if your truck was a 6-lug or not because you went flying by and the people were driving like morons trying to get on the 78.

I know this post is very old but I have fabtech spindles and was wondering biggest size tire I could get away with on my truck. I see you have 31 what are your rim specs?
