Modding headlights.. opinions?

So I've added a HID projector setup to the stock headlights and blacked them all out..
I really like the Stealth setup.. but..

Before I put it all back together I'm sitting here thinking..
Should I do anything else while I'm in there?

I'm sure I could tweak it out some with some LED's inside..
I'm a fan of the Audi style headlights, but I don't think that setup would flow..
I don't really want it to scream aftermarket or rice, that's why
I killed off the BMW style Halo setup that was a part of it..

modded the projectors to black em all out and killed off the halo.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, or that it looks good.

Seal it up and call it a day.

Nice! I like that mod. What did you do to take the light apart. Is there any glue to deal with. What`s the procedure dawg:eyecrazy::eyecrazy::eyecrazy:

I think I'll keep it clean and just seal it up how I have it now..
Less is more and it'll look more custom than aftermarket..

I'll seal it up this weekend if I get my ballasts and bulbs.. :waytogo:

:brickknoc Thats like saying because I work at a steak house I wont share grilling tips cuz it would be encroaching on my business... lame.

Chris, they look good, maybe some led's down the side to use as front turn signal and change the lowers to fog lights? Or you could leave them as they are, look real clean.

Bad analogy. Why tell someone how to do something when they could ship it to me, have me do it, and pay me for it. :waytogo:

Whats so special about what you would do to it that I couldn't do?
I didn't ask for how to do something, just ideas on what I should install in the headlight.
I can do anything you can :waytogo:

i think they look good chris. i think when i get around to doing this i will try to paint that ring RED since it would go well with the black and red i have on my truck...in your case, black will look great

ohh and btw, i shouldnt have told you how to do that in case you wanna send them to me, pay me, and i can do it for you...but id end up keeping them so i can put them on my truck:selfbonk:

You sure about that?

In that case, Put an amber LED strip and wire to your blinker. It would make it look better and add functionality

I already have turnsignals and modded those to do something a little different...
heres a video of what I did to mine.. lets see you wire this up :waytogo:

ok, so right now I have the projector installed in the housing and I'm baking
it in the oven to get the adhesive pliable to put it all back together..

nervous, hell yeah LOL I hate this part of headlight modding..
I've got everything nice and clean ready to roll..

Yup, I'm just leaving them as a projector in the headlight, nothing else..

Keeping It Stupid Simple.. = KISS

(I know ist's usually simple stupid)

I just got one headlight sealed.. other side is baking now
