Liscense plate light gaskets?

I dunno why my other thread of this got deleted? anyways I need some of these gaskets because mine got old and fell apart. The little rubber gasket that goes between the lights and the bumper on the rear bumper. Any help?

But do you think that I can just get the gaskets by themselves or will i have to buy the whole light assembly? Is there a part # for them?:shrug: I appreciate your help Enola:waytogo:

Here's a factory parts diagram. It doesn't show any separate gasket - just the socket, bulb, and lens pieces.

Both parts lists I have are the same - no separate gasket listed.

If it is available separately, you'll probably find that out only through the dealership.

thats for the internals. The externals which is the large black plastic housing I would assume have the gasket.

It is part of The bumper under license lamp

one piece about 10 bucks each.

Yeah but theres no tacos in yards around here:cry: Hey can a CT member in SD pick me up a couple good ones from the Mini Truck girls?:shrug:

I actually might have one actually in my garage..
a buddy gave me a whole new light since I kicked mine once and broke it..and he gave me the gasket too..and my old one was still good.

Can you verify whether the gasket comes as part of the whole assembly, or whether it's a separate part? :thinking:

I'm unsure.


He gave me the entire assembly off his bumper since he removed his (desert off road truck)..and the gasket was still on it when I received it.

So I just saved it.


I should of said a "entire" assembly...instead of "new"..as it wasn't new.
