So I thought there might be a "sticky" on people's experiences on swapping out bulbs for LED's including sizes/part #'s.

Since the owner's manual is MIA on my Tacoma, I wanted to SAVE time & ask here.

I was looking to install:

Center Dome
Lower bumper signal
Upper Side marker
Tails [Signal/Brake/Reverse]
License plate
Dash lights itself [if possible]

Also someone turned me to car xenon hid kits dot com for an HID bi-xenon swap.
Has anyone tried this site? Good, bad, legit?

Or on eBay?
Just trying to find a decent quality bi-xenon set, but I know several that tried eBay sellers- they told me the kits were "flipped/reversed". Meaning they had to drive with the "high-beams" to have the HIDs on low/normal and then on low/normal for the high beams.

Since NO responses but a bunch of lookers so here's what I learned:

EBay can be a hit or miss but I only bought from USA sellers only & most worked good. There are some that died a year later or I had to bend the prong & add di-electric grease to maintain electrical contact. Like they say, you literally get what you paid for... But gotta say fast shipping especially from California.

But I have gotten high-quality bulbs that are far brighter & better made from "Diode-Dynamics" and "The-RetroFit-Source".... they are basically in everything besides my Tacoma.... pricey but definitely worth it...

For the HIDs- I went with Retro Fit Source 6000K HID Hi/Lo beam kit. Their warranty is great: I had a minor problem with a converter so I called & emailed them a pic of the faulty part. Week later, new part!
So it's going to be three years on the same kit and function every time.
