I have searched for a while and can't find evidence of anyone installing IS300 seats in a taco... Has anyone done this? I am trying to find celica seats but can't. I found a pair of IS300 seats for 300 and want to know if they can be modded similar to the celica seats?
thanks

of course dude. if there's a will, there's a way. probably just need a custom mount.
If the IS300 seats will physically fit inside your cab, and you are willing to fabricate custom mounts / bases, then yes - you can get them in there.
that sounds steep for some used seats. i got some seats out of a 2005 audi a4 for 70 bucks. you should check them out.

Wow you got a screaming deal on the audi seats. And as for the is300's 300 bones for leather sounds about right. To get them to fit it all comes down to a will and a way. Ie money.

I really want them but I have 3 Questions

How much would you charge me to ship them to canada...
How hard is it to hook up the heated and electric part of the seat?
Have you had a chance to see how the holes match up for the tacoma? I know modification will be needed... just wondering how much...

thanks
It seems as though evil3rz has dissapeared with my 70$ seats... got my hopes up and everything...

I don't have them lol.

I was saying we used to have an A4 back in 05,

then he sold it but that's besides the point

The point is there comfortable, the A4 seats
Umm, if your truck has wiring for electric seats already under the carpet, then should be able to wire up.

Unsure though, never pulled back carpet of my 99.

I have some 02 Wrx seats in my truck

Only 2001 - 2004 Tacos ever had factory wiring for electric seat features, and even then it was only for the driver's side.

Jo_boy: Exactly what wiring would be required would be dependent on the seat. You'd obviously be looking at adding your own power circuit(s). However, whether you'd need relays (etc.) would depend on whether those seats included switches controlling the current or not.

sounds like a big pain in the butt for just power seats...
I think I will just wait patiently for a nice set of Celica seats to come around. I like the look of them the best and they require the least amount of modification... Thanks for the help though....
