Has anyone considered or researched the possibility of an intercooler for their supercharger? Would it be at all beneficial?

Along that line, I've wondered if icing down the blower just before staging would help cool down the charge long enough to make a diffference in the quarter.

Icing the down the intake manifold/blower of any car is definitely a good idea. I have seen people at the drag strip doing it for years.

I will never forget a guy years ago with a 94+ cadillac v8 sedan who was running high 14's at the brother hood raceway (terminal island) in san pedro, CA. As far as I could see all he was doing was icing the intake and he had no other mods on his car. He was continually beating a young kid in an automatic twin turbo supra!

Don't forget, it's not a intercooler you want for the SC, it's a after cooler. Intercoolers are for turbos.

So it would be a moot point, considering the TRD charger bolts directly to the manifold...
