High pressure radiator cap

Is there any risk by using a higher pressure than stock radiator cap?

The 5VZ comes with a 13 psi cap and I'm using a TRD 19.5 psi.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

No your oem cap is rated for how much psi is in that radiator so adding a new cap that can hold more wont change anything....

I'm talking about the stress that the extra 6.5 psi adds to the cooling system, will that damage any component? Radiator, hoses, water pump?
NO it is fine, I run high pressure caps in everything to raise the boiling point of the cooling system.

Did the earthquake affect you Pug?? Hope your OK.

We felt the earthquake here in Santo Domingo and most of the country but there was no damage. Most people, including me, felt dizzy when it happened. The damage was in Haiti.
Thanks for your concern :waytogo:
