Check the oil cooler tube assy, the O rings fail and leak when under pressure when warm.

Any diesel guys on here? if so i have a question. My pappys truck is a 99 7.3 powerstroke. We put a gallon of anti-freeze in it a few weeks ago, checked it today...empty. it leaks very little around the oil filter, but definatly not enough to drain it in a few weeks. No leaks any where else. no coolant in the oil and no white smoke out of the exhaust, no idea where its going.
Does this sound like a head gasket issue to anyone?
Thanks, Dane
A lot of times the leak is internal and wont be seen leaking, but it is a good think to check for external leaks as well. I was saying to check the oil cooler because these were a common problem.Im not a diesel mech but I would start by borrowing a pressure tester and see if it holds pressure and then start from there
