Hey all, looking for a couple p/n for harness plugs and was curious if anyone either had them off hand or was willing to give their trucks a look if they had these features. Im doing a trans swap in a 97 from auto to manual and thus don’t have a couple plugs, I need the p/n for the 2pin clutch position switch plug (harness side) as well as the 2pin reverse switch plug (harness side also) for a w59 transmission. Not sure on the transmission end if there is a change in plug styles but I believe the transmission came from an 01 but you never know which always makes things fun. Thanks in advance!

You'll need to consult with a dealership or other parts source to find the part numbers. The FSM wiring diagrams specify which types of plugs are used within a circuit, but they don't:

  • necessarily specify which version goes where or
  • give any clues to the part numbers.
Be sure to take photos of the connectors (both sides) with you to help pin down exactly which parts you need. This may prove critical in identifying the plug needed for the tranny whose model year you don't know.
