Toyota uses the term 'stabilizer bar' for what is commonly called an 'anti-sway bar' or simply 'sway bar'.

All Tacomas have a front stabilizer / anti-sway bar. However, the SR front bar is a different part number from the one used on other Tacomas.

The OEM rear anti-sway bar is unique to S-Runners during the period 2001 - 2004.

Diameters:

- Front: 1.1 inches (2002 listing) / 1.06 inches (2001 / 2003 / 2004 listings)
- Front: 27.7mm (as measured by CT-zen daveds50)

- Rear: 0.9 inches (as listed in Toyota spec literature)
- Rear: 23mm (as measured by CT-zen daveds50)

OEM Part Numbers: Front

  • Front Stabilizer (Anti Sway) Bar: 48811-AD040
  • Front Stabilizer Link Bushing: 90948-01080 (2 ea., both R and L)
  • Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing: 48815-AD020 (both R and L)
OEM Part Numbers: Rear

NOTE: Assembly includes the following pieces:
    - Stabilizer Collar 90387-10162 (both R and L)

Here (attached) are photos of MountainBiker's installation of an S-Runner OEM rear swaybar on a 5-lug XtraCab of the same generation.

More info on MountainBiker's SR swaybar transplant project can be found at:

http://www.customtacos.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32404

He used the same mounting scheme as used on the factory S-Runners.
