Anybody ever used this thing? I think Fumoto has one also that looks like it might be a little better. I was wondering if you knew what size our threads are. Thanks for the info

I once had one in my truck but I didn't like it too much, it makes the already small drain hole even smaller, it takes longer for the oil to drain and gave me the impression that some of oil along with contaminants wouldn't go out. That's just my impression, not necessarily what was happening.

If you go to fram.com you can search for the correct one or go to www.rockauto.com
According to Peter Parks' Fumoto writeup:

http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamods/fumoto/fumoto.htm

... the Fumoto F-103 is the correct unit for a Tacoma, and the Fumoto website lists its threading as M12X1.25.

I agree, it takes sooo much longer for the oil to drain out.
i trust nothing that comes from fram...
Not everything that they do is bad but they have to be hand picked. But I agree that I don't fully trust them neither and if there are brands that offer better products and peace of mind why play with fire.

i rather trust a cork screw then that fram plug
"The Easier Way to Change Your Oil", Really? ... So what's so difficult about unscrewing a drain plug? :looney:
