Foglights in 2001 bumper mouth.

So I am wanting to put some fog lights on my truck. I was thinking of some PIAA's in the bumper mouth. I think with some trimming I can get these to fit.http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/1400.html
has anyone done this? I've seen the corner, signal light swap. I would rather just add some fogs, maybe on the bumper like stocktaco. What do you guys think, worth the hasle just for a better look or just put 'em on the bumper.

Sweet lights. They should fit nicely in the valence. There are a few members that have fog lights there and they look good..

On the bumper!

SO I completely copied your mounting and wiring just not the lights.:D We be gangster!
Definitely in the valence for that type of light..

Those would just look weird on the bumper IMO
bumper mounting a light on anything other than a 4x4 or lifted offroad truck looks ****..

don't rule out hella..

if you have an aftermarket billet or mesh grill, these are sweet to mount behind the grill..

Bumper was wrecked, I had an opertunity to get free lights if I mounted em and wrote a review..

who wouldn't with those circumstances?

after the review, I took em off..
I stand firm that they look **** on anything other than a 4x4ish rig..
that picture furthers my point

Your opinion HomoErectus. We all have our on style. I like the rally/autocross look myself and think my lights fit my truck well. I've got more thumbs up than thumbs down with regrads to the lights.

See if you can mount some Hella Black Magics behind a mesh or billit grille.

I only have cell phone pics, doesn't do the 'em justice. IMO, they blow away overrated Hella 500's. And no worries, my balls are fine thank you.

You'll probably take this as a compliment. :waytogo:

No billet grill for me, though I do like the black mesh one. I really need some fogs, here around puget sound the fog can be pretty thick.

there is a good write up on here about installing the black mesh grillecraft and putting lights behind it, i did it on my truck and love it although i need an upgrade on my lights :waytogo:
i vote no on the bumper, only because when i had my KC's mounted on there, you couldn't even use them because the bumper was so flimsy, all they did was shake more than michael j fox.
