No, it will not have any effect on them. But it IS a temporary fix just to get you to a repair facility to properly repair the tire (and clean out the fix-a-flat liquid).
i wouldnt do it just to be on the safe side cause the sensor is about 150 plus the laber to replace and reprogram but thats me i havent seen any come in with fix a flat but i have seen alot of moisture somehow ruin sensors
Fix a flat will eat the clear coat off the inside of the tire if you run that stuff for too long..
either that or plug it..

nail in the tire?
I've seen sensors gummed up with it. Nasty stuff... will corrode/pit alloy wheels and flake off the chrome. I wouldn't do it.
tire sensor safe

The Slime sealant is also safe. They say it won't do damage it will just make the
sensors be inoperable until you clean them with water.
you can get a tire plug kit from wal-mart for roughly the same price as fix-a-flat...if you can't jam a piece of gooey rubber into a hole in your tire then you shouldn't be putting fix-a-flat in it either.

agree'd

I've always done the plugs with great results, its cheap and pretty much lasts forever..

heres a video to learn how to do it.. :waytogo:

i carry a tire plug kit in my glovebox.. fix a flat, although it does have a purpose.. ie. working in a pinch, it makes a total mess inside the tire.. and that crap is not fin to get out... so if you use fix a flat, tip your tire guy a bit:lol:

No nail in tire. It just has a super slow leak. Discount tire didnt find anything.
