Firestone Airbag Issues

I didn't see what I was looking for by doing a search so I apologize if this has been discussed.

I have a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner that I put a set of airbags on. It developed a vibration between 15-20 mile an hour after install. I played with the pressure in the bags and made sure my tires had the right pressure in them. I didn't throw any wheel weights.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what was the fix?

Thanks,

Marc

(2) What are the details on the suspension setup other than the airbags?
I have the same ride rite bags on my 05 prerunner & have never had an issue, how many PSI are you using unloaded? I keep mine around 8 PSI.
Time for an alignment maybe?

Its a stock truck. I haul dive gear which goes into the 300-400 pound range and the occassional deer and elk, so I wanted to take the sag out of it. I dropped the pressure to maybe 5 pounds. I don't think its an alignment issue, there isn't any pull or tracking issues. Possibly due to old AT tires?

Thank you all for the responses.

I'm not familiar with load leveling air suspensions, but it seems like 5 psi is pretty low.
5 psi is the minimium amount of air you can run in the bags when your truck in unloaded according to Firestone.
I have the sam bags on my truck with no ill affect, I run 10 psi min., I would have to say its not the bags causing the vibration, get your tires rebalanced to see if thats the cause.
I don't have a 05 but I have the Firestone system on my 00. Make sure your u-bolts are even and tight. Tighten the bag brackets and make sure your lug nuts are torqued evenly too.
Tightened down U bolts on the passenger side. Good news is that it seems to have less vibration. Thank you.

However, now I have a noise coming from the area around the u joint. Does anyone know of issues from that?
Cracked u joint. thank you all for your comments.
