Is replacing the belt driven fan for an electric fan something worth doing to increase power? Or is it more work then necessary? I was wondering what it took to do this job? Does anyone know were I could get under pulleys for a 1997 Tacoma.. Thanks a lot......

This would not make a great difference in power, go with a free flowing intake, exhaust first. Unless you have already done this.

I have no idea where you can find pulleys for the taco, but i did put an electric fan in mine. I got mine at an off road store. It is a 16 inch spal fan. Then to get it working I bought a generic temp. controlled switch ( there is a probe that goes through the radiator). It added power between shifts, basicly the motor did not bog as bunch from up to up shift.
