We would like to know if it is possible to fabricate some different exotic car parts on a Tacoma. We ran into a major problem with a simulated wood pedal kit we bought that I was told was for a Tacoma, but I found out it was a universal kit and mainly for full size trucks and my foot kept hitting and sticking the brake and the accelerator pedal every time I pushed in the clutch pedal so we took them off.
In the December 01 issue of Playboy pgs 150-153 there is an article on the new models of exotic cars coming out called Precious Metal. There is a clip of the pedals from the 2002 Pagani Zonda C12 from Modena the heart of Ferrari country. They look to be polished aluminum. The clutch and brake are round and the accelarator is a curved rectangle. These cars also feature a polished aluminum shift pattern plate, that has lines in the plate for when you shift from one gear to another, like on the Ferrari and Lamborghini cars. It seems that anything is possible with a Mini Truck and I would like to know from others how difficult these mods would be to perform, I think it would be well worth it. The exotic car manufacturers can do it to their cars so why wouldn't it be possible to do it on a exotic custom Mini Truck. I called a Ferrari dealer in Florida the other day, inquiring about purchasing a set of horns that come on the Ferrari and Lamborghinis stock. They are called "Red Horns" and have the classic Italian sound, we will be purchasing them in the near future, along with a Grant full wood Mahogeny steering wheel, we have oak interior and are doing a wood and polished aluminum look.
Please reply with your suggestions and comments.
Thankyou
