Do you have smog?

If so, then buy a old cat shell and put your test pipe through that....just incase so you don't get hassled by LVPD..

You won't pass I'm pretty sure with test pipe, so make sure it's bolt in - bolt out status

If you don't, put it through it anyway...not worth the hassle.

Need an O2 calibrator also if you plan to get rid of one of them

Looks awesome

you mean o2 simulator? it looks to me int he pic you have a cat with a test pipe behind it, its one or the other, not both.. if you have a cat still you dont need a test pipe, if you have a test pipe it replaces the cat. :waytogo:
btw what kinda muffler is that? id reccomend magnaflow over a chambered muffler:waytogo:

its a 40 series flowmaster...

That would sound good Garet. That gets rid of that dreaded "DRONE" sound that most want to avoid, and keeps ya legal.

Get a perforated resonator not a louvered one for best flow.

Nice diagram.

Yup, I did. Magnaflow stainless steel perforated tube, packed. I want a quiet exhaust.

Thanks.

To the OP, the droning sound is like... ah geez, dunno how to describe it. Like the sound of grooved pavement before they lay down the new stuff, only it's your exhaust.

It is a very annoying sound that makes everything rattle and it will get old really quick. Its a loud sound that resonates inside your skull.:eyecrazy:

The muffler I went with was a magnaflow free flow. It sounds great! Very quiet! I think overall length is 28" and it cost around 100 bucks shipped.
