I just got my Euro Tail lights after about 3 months of waiting, and i installed them just fine. However, i have a small gap around the light edges. I was needing to know what can i use to fill the little gap between the light and the body of the truck? Any help is appreciated.
It's not that big, but i was used to having a snug fit. I'll get used to it though. Yes, they came wired correctly, i think. But they seem to work fine. Is there some kind of extra wiring needed?
I got the Gen 3 altezzas the other day and they sit fine, if you have a pretty decent gap, then they're not in there right. I have a gap of about 1/8" or so, its not that much. so just check it out. The ones that come wired wrong are the Crystal Eyes by In Car Pro. Those are all jacked up and need to be rewired.
Does anyone know what the APC eurotails look like for our trucks? I've heard that they make them for our trucks but have yet to see them. I've seen some GEN 3 ones on ebay that are UGLY as heck. I've also seen the ones like on Jeff's taco (what brand are those?), which look pretty cool but I don't want to get them if they are wired wrong and don't fit right.
Those are the Crystal Eyes euros that came wired TOTALLY WRONG. I've completely re-wired them and they work great.
Actually...I'm trying to sell them so that I can get a set of the carbon fiber euros. I think they'll look better on my black truck. So, if anyone is interested in my tails, they're in perfect condition, not a thing wrong with them. Make me an offer if so..
Personally I thing the Gen3's are UGLY. Why do you thing they are the only ones on Ebay?
I have a question regarding the other style though. There are two cones but which does what? Is the top one JUST as reflector? That's what it looks like it pictures.
I kinda think that the chrome euro tails are played out, the following generations are just ugly. It was ok when only a few cars had them now everyones got em. The c/f taillights are ok I might get some then spray tint them a bit just to fog the lens a little
They might be played out on ricers but seriously, how many tacomas do you see around your neighborhood with euros?
I still think there cool, just over priced.
I see them on S-10's and full size Chevys I havent seen any custom Tacos in my area, I think I'm gonna be the only one when I finish up this spring. Like I said before the chrome ones dont look good maybe on a silver or white truck possibly, the c/f's look good on black. Just seeing them reminds me of old Cadilacs or older Impalas
Definately agree with the chrome looking good on white/black trucks.. I seriously dont think i would like it on mine though, i would have to go with the carbon... and maybe a light tint on top of that..
i got some euro tail lights acouple months ago and i had the same problem the didnt fit snug.. but i had to send mine back cuz they werent wired right..
You are right about the carbons on the red trucks. I thought about the crome ones, but I didn't like it either. I have carbon style altezzas on mine. I love it. I've gotten a lot of complements.
Good deal, I don't know when I'm gonna have the funds to get them though. The tail lights aren't exactly a high priority on my mods list right now.
