So I was chillin today at Engage when Hassim rolled this bad boy out. I managed to get some pics before the owner picked it up, and Hassim gave me the specs on this new RACE READY kit.

You can contact Jerry at [email protected] for price quotes and more details. This suspension system will make any tacoma a BEAST!!!

12" split
83" track width
22" of travel
1" uniballs
Delrin bushings
4130 material
graftible lower bulkhead and LCAs

The truck pictured is a Nissan, but the same kit is available for Tacomas and Tundras I suspect.

Its functional maybe that is why you dont think it LOOKS right. :brickknoc
What is right? Smooth fenders no gaps stock grills and pretty paint?
Nobodys truck is fully done when they leave shops. I have plenty of pictures of my truck at many stages where it looked horrible from the PRETTY street queen aspect. My was bashed and made fun of all over. But who laughs now? Who can really talk **** about it now? Plus having the WIDE 93" wise truck is amazing to me and would never even care to have a narrow truck as the width is what makes my truck handle so much better and looks so much different then most trucks out there. But the main thing is IT WORKS. Rims and much larger tires will help looks a ton as well and changing some things up a bit as needed. But the sad part like myself we are not all rich and cant make it all pretty and DONE out of the box. Mine took almost 4 years to be the truck it is now. And I tell you what I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

Amen brotha, I liked it before your edited it.. ha ha ha

And yes Hassim has spent countless hours working on this truck not to mention the time I have put into it and I think it came out pretty damn good.

But I wish the owner would have taken Hassim up on the offer of towing the truck out to the dezert for testing and tuning. That is great customer service IMO.
That things LarGE! Cant wait to see the similiar kit on Yuri's 4runner. Keep up the good work..

I believe Yuri's kit will be bolt on to stock location, no bulk head system.

But I cant wait to see this kit on a tacoma, or with something with a bit more horse power
I just came :eyecrazy: this build has come a long way, I remember seeing that frontier last April in the shop
this suspension system is very extreme compared to stock pivot location systems, the way the trucks handle with this is very different than with the bolt on kits, yes they do sacrifice the look of the truck...compared to a street truck....but then again Trophy Trucks do as well....everyone is entitled to their own opinion....if you want your truck to have perfect body lines, no scratches, make no noise, and be comfortable on your drive to vegas....than this is the wrong sport for you....this is function over form at its finest....some people build trucks so they can look like dezert racers, and other build them to race....:waytogo:

Not saying its ****ty work, But i don't know if its the front clip or wheels and tires. Theres just something to that truck that looks out of wack not sure exactly what it is. maybe bigger fiberglass i dont know. Super wide trucks dont do much for me.Yes, I understand the wider it is, more stable it is. but with an 83" track width thats not much wider then my truck. Yes were all broke when it comes to building a truck. my truck, bought it 3.5yrs ago still got payment on it and i barely got the rear suspension done. I understand function over looks. My truck looked like **** for almost a year and handled like **** for 3yrs. Yes i have always like to have a really nice looking trucks that's why i painted it. Not saying my fabwork is the best im suprized my fabwork hasnt hit the Crappy fab thread on DR. My truck is no where near a show style truck. Looks are a pet peeve of mine. My truck may look good from a distance but sounds horrible coming down the road. I know the noises is just something to come when you start to customize it. You can say my truck is a streetqueen. I bet that truck will be also. just like 99% of the truck on here. But again weve been over this before. All the shop is doing is producing a product its up to the person to push and take there truck to the desert. My truck is more street queen today then it ever used to be do to I cant stand dealing with all the dip****s in the desert that pop boners over ever single truck with long travel.

Im sorry mister fabricator. Most people do measure track width outside to outside is it correct NO. If you measure outside to outside you should be able to subtract the width of 1 tire and that should give you the correct track width. But again that can vary slightly depending on backspacing. maybe I should have said my truck is about 82-83" wide is what you were looking for?
just one more truck I wont be able to keep up with..... hahaha
no worries James... you still have me to pass up...

:nana:
I was just commenting on the fact that you said it is not much wider than yours, and I did not want to get people confused. :waytogo:
I agree that there is something a little strange looking about it......for one thing, it's a Nissan Frontier, and they never really look right.

The wheel/tire combo isn't helping, and I'm not a big fan of that front clip either, but that's what the owner wanted, so whatever.

I don't think Nissan ever made a four door Frontier with a full length bed, so maybe that's partially why it looks strange.

Anyway, on a side note:

Track Width - measures from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.

Overall Width - measures outside tire to outside tire.
