the stock fan on my 2rz is rattling, and it is driving me CRAZY! i want to switch over to an electic one, i know LCE makes one but they are kinda pricy, i know auto zone has one that is universal, has anyone used it? if so what do you think of it?

who else makes a good fan? does anyone have a cheap like new factory one they want to send out?

LCE sells the Flex-a-Lite model 2010 dual fan kit and it probably can be found a little cheaper at summit or jegs. There was a used one for sale here on CT too (it might still be?). I've had mine for about 1.5 years w/o any issues. Noticed a snappier throttle and a little more power. Not a major change, but was a slight improvement. Others have used universal fans w/similar performance and reliability results. Tred here hasn't had any luck with any e-fan. Search the Performance section and you'll see a ton of threads.
I use a 16" Summit Racing fan. With a relay kit wired up to the turbo timer with a switch.

simple, effective, and cheap. summit fan on a thermostatic switch. once the radiator gets hot enough (190-200) the switch will turn the fan on, and turn it off once the radiator dips back down to 170-180.
