Done blowed er up! and just in time!
Well tomorrow is D-day for my truck(rusted frame)so I took it the dealership tonight cause I wont be able to get a ride home tomorrow. On the way there I decided to do one last good smokey burnout, about 2 minutes in it started to run kind of weird so smacked it into third from second to ride it out and it just lost all power with a nice shutter, clanging, knocking check engine light on kind of thing. I pulled over and checked it out, no hole in the block or anything but its a constant knock that gets really bad after 1500 rpm. Drove it the rest of the way there, 4th gear was as high as I could get it. Doesnt sound bad but you have to remember that it has 4.56 gears and the tires are only 215's so its pretty bad. So basically mission accomplished! I've been telling everyone that if I have anything to do with it, it wouldnt be running on all cylinders when I dropped it off.:clapping:

I wish there was footage, my camera was in my 88 pickup:brickknoc. I didnt even think to grab it, it was a dark back road anyway, it wouldnt have shown up. I'll try to get some tomorrow when I go to get the check.

I did the same thing.
On my way there I gave it hell. Didn't blow it though.
Raced dad in his 08 silverado crew 5.3. He said when I hit second I spun for about twenty feet and jumped three car lenghts in front of him. Salty roads and cheap tires.
I also hit ever pole,snow bank , bush, fence I could find.
Nice on screwing it up.
