Hello all. I've recently purchased a 2002 Tacoma. It had a great wax finish on it at the dealers and looke brand new. Of course after a few weeks it starts to wear. As I've driven it I've noticed my front hood taking a beating with debris with knicks and scratches all over it. Will an aero guard help me with this?? I had planned on getting one eventually but now I feel like I must as my hood is getting f-d up.

Thoughts???

Thanks

Those guards are definitely good for protecting from knicks & chips, I bought my for that very reason. Most people are not enthused with the way they look though.

BTW Nice Avatar!! :waytogo:

Current aerodynamic hood guards (bug deflectors; hood shields) do protect the leading edge of the hood from knicks and such.

You can also use a stick-on protective film (like XPel / 3M) to protect that leading edge.
