Kind of looks that waydoesn't budbuilt cater more towards the off-road 4wd crowd, not the performance crowd?

CT'zen Speed Freek...read post #9, I have a pair for my 99 xtra cab 5 lug and they work really wellwho's jason? what company?
I actually took mine off for a couple weeks ( I sold them) and found the truck felt kinda loose and sloppy without my bars. It definitely is an improvement for my type of driving which is pretty aggressive, truck launches better, and corners flatter, but I was unaware that they affected handling in any negative way.I have the bud and love it. Great handling and necessary traction aid for me. Another member had both bud and speed's. He loved the traction of speeds but effected handling. Bud not as much traction aid but doesn't effect handling. I have gotten the front tires off the ground using the bud and I thought it was a beefy kit however I wouldn't run that style on a lifted or 4X4 truck. If I had the clearence it wouldve been ladder bar or cal tracs. But I already drag every part of this truck so no way.
Pics or GTFO... :lol:I have gotten the front tires off the ground using the bud and I thought it was a beefy kit
how is that his fault? sounds like he did everything he could to make things right. if anything, it sounds like the issue is having a trac-bar, not the company who made it.I have mixed feelings about Bud. He had great customer service and always took my calls when i was doing the install. On the negative side it took over 4 months for me to get my bar because it was the first one he had done fore an 05 4x4. The studs that hold it to the pumpkin sheared off after about 3 months, but he overnighted me a new set for free. The bar broke off a second time about 8 months later and my rear end grenaded because i was on the highway and the center section slid out a little. So nice guy but I had nothing but problems with his product on my truck in my application. Now it just sits in my basement collecting dust, all in all I would say it cost me over $3000 for the bar, towing and a new rear end.:brickknoc
Ps the second time I had the bar professionally installed at a good shop
