Good day gang. I have a new to me 2017 Tacoma. So far I really like it. We also have a 2018 CHR. The thing that drives me bonkers is the CC. The cruise on the CHR will increase or decrease by 5 KPH when I wish to do either. My Tacoma does not. 1 KPH at a time. It takes forever to go up or down.
My question. Can I either change the CC CPU or reprogram the ECU to increase or decrease to move by increments of 5.
Any thoughts. Good or bad.

Welcome to CT ...

I don't know for sure, but ... My guess is "No" - you can't reprogram the cruise control to shift in increments of 5 kph.

As far as I know there's no separate cruise controller ("brain") that can be re-programmed like you suggest.

The most expeditious way to move that many clicks is to disengage, take the truck to the new speed, and re-enter that speed for cruise control.
