well. finally gettin some pics up for you guys. i ended up rhino lining my rear bumper... originaly its supposed to be color matched, but due to getting hit in the rear i had to buy a new one. so a few months back i found a chrome rear bumper off craigs list for 30 bucks... the chrome really didnt go well with my truck, so i contemplated this rhino lining idea for a little while and finally went ahead and did it. i snapped these pics for you guys real quick at one of my jobs.

in the proccess of prepping the bumper i had to remove my bumper pads/covers and i noticed a little surface rust(not bad at all.) so i sanded it down and sprayed a little rustoleum rust prevention on it.. then i sanded down the chrome for a good amount of time using the roughest texture i could fine. all went well, then on to applying the liner.

came out pretty good IMO.

anyways on with the pics, let me know what you think..

.....ALSO THE LAST PICTURES I POSTED A FEW WEEKS BACK I HAD THE 265/75 M/T'S ON. THESE CURRENT PICTURES ARE WITH THE NEW 285/75 M/T'S, havent posted pics yet with the new 285's.....

SORRY, BUT I HAD TO POST PICS OF OUR NEW LITTLE GIRL.. 4 WEEKS OLD.. HER NAME IS MACI.

anyways. enjoy. let me know what you think..

looks good! i think it flows with your truck nicely :waytogo:
Looks great. It does flow with you truck very well. Be careful with Rhino liner though. It will fade to a chalky black. That's why I went with Line-X with UV. Costs more though
Looks good! :waytogo:

I agree with Sue - watch out for eventual UV-induced fading over time. If I recall correctly Rhino offers a protectant to help counteract the fading.

I don't recall Rhino offering UV protectant, if they do it must be fairly new. Rhino will tear too. Because it is applied cold repair is harder. Which is why I did the Line-X ( I sound like a commercial!)

Never the less, it looks great, I am really impressed with the overall flow of the truck with a black bumper. Good choice.
ya i will deff keep an eye on that.. thanks guys, i really appreciate the compliments.

ya i am really liking the look so far. throwing some tire shine on it, makes it shine and cleans it up real nice.
