depends on driving habits and environment...they should start squeaking when they are worn out...you can always take your tires off to visually inspect
Ok but at how many miles you do a tire rotation?there is no set guidline, just check them every tire rotation..
Refer to your tire manufacturers specified service intervals :waytogo:Ok but at how many miles you do a tire rotation?
As mentioned, too many variables (auto or stick, driving habits, quality and/or type of pads, etc.). Figure they're good for 25-40k or so.How long do these things last?
For dino oil 5k's about right. Full synthetic I'd double that at the minimum. Regardless, 5k's a good interval for tire rotations.Refer to your tire manufacturers specified service intervals :waytogo:
I do mine every oil change, every 5K miles..![]()
I've got just over 46,000 on the truck and haven't changed them yet. I drive pretty aggressively so I'm kinda surprised they've lasted so long.
I don't know, maybe I'm stopping with metal on metal at this point:shrug:

Don't you mean you have to replace 1 rear tire at a time.. :lol:i do mine every time i get new set of tires:evil: and i only really have to buy ner rear tires any ways
Discount doesnt care about your brakes because they dont install them. However Toyota should be all over the up sell. I am surprised they havent advised you change them just to make a buck......shoulda went a little something like this:Hmmm, I didn't know brake pad interval change was the same thing as oil change:thinking:
I get my oil changed at Toyota and my tires rotated at Discount Tire. I doubt they ever check the brakes. I'll have to hit them up myself one of these days.
